Student research captures attitudes about proctoring

Jan 10, 2022

Economics student Maham Afzaal has completed a study examining undergraduate students’ perspectives on online proctoring tools commonly used for testing at universities. As a part of a research project supported through an undergraduate student research award, Afzaal conducted an anonymous online survey of more than four hundred McMaster students.

As a part of the research process, Afzaal indicated to the anonymous participants that the results of the survey would be made available online. This practice allows people who participate to eventually see the results of their contribution in the overall project.

Overall results are available here as a summary of findings.
